The water

Water on the farm

Licensed water from spring-fed Leonard Brook, a pond with a water feature beside it.

The water

Licensed water from Leonard Brook, fed by the spring at the head of Leonard Brook, just off the property. The water runs two separate routes: to the irrigation pump house, which supplies water to the garden area, and to a separate domestic pump house that feeds the house, the shop, the barn and the outbuildings. The irrigation overflow runs out into the middle of the pond, and the overflow from the domestic pump house runs into the water feature (the cast-iron tub) and then into the pond.

Along the Fraser
